“The band were absolutely excellent, and virtually everyone who came took the the trouble to say how much they had enjoyed themselves and that they looked forward to having the same kind of event again next year (or sooner if we can arrange it!).  In particular, Ray was an excellent caller: enthusiastic and encouraging without being pushy and providing clear and friendly instruction.  Ray and the band provided a very varied range of music and dances which were fun and energetic, and contributed to a warm and inclusive atmosphere.  We even did some Czechoslovakian dances. The children in particular had a ball, even the usually self-conscious 7 to 11-year old boys were throwing themselves into the dances with great enthusiasm. We think there were around 60 people altogether including children, and we were only able to identify one person who resolutely clung to his bottle of lager and didn't dance!” - Helen

“Fiona, just to let you know we had a great evening, luckily the weather was kind to us, with being in the barn.  Please pass our thanks on to Reel Easy, they were just the ticket. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a great time, the band were ideal!” - Robert Turner.

A big thank you to you all. I had such positive feedback from everybody on how 'good the band' was! Hopefully you didn't get too dehydrated... Brilliant playing. Thanks again.” - S.Z

“The Band was just right for the occasion - and such nice people!” - Karen

“We had a thoroughly enjoyable time on Friday night with Reel Easy.  They certainly deserve credit for being so patient while we finished supper and then cajoling some unwilling and uncoordinated dancers into having a great time!” - Beth French

“Just to say everything went really well with Reel Easy. If you could pass on my thanks to them again I would be grateful.”
- Ian

“They were marvellous - and the music they played was exactly what we were looking for.   Ray was brilliant at leading folk through the dances, which could not have been an easy job as most of our guests had never been to a ceilidh before. By the end of the evening they were hooked, and nobody wanted the day to end. We enjoyed ourselves enormously as well, and will always remember our 60th birthday celebration, made perfect by a brilliant band. Thank you.” - Deb

“Just wanted to say a really big thank you to you and the band.  Going through you made the whole process so much less stressful!  Paul and all our friends and family had a great time, even those who didn't have the guts to dance said the band was great and they would've done if not for various (poor) excuses!  The band was friendly, talented, easy going and generally lovely.” - Liz

“What a great band, the atmosphere was absolutely magic, I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending them if you ever need a reference. To be fair, your caller had a hard job but he handled it very well. My birthday party was everything I had imagined, just to say thanks & please pass on my thanks again to Reel Easy Band for making this event so special for me. I have only just stopped aching!” - Christine

“They were fantastic and gave us night to be remembered. It was exactly what we had in mind and everyone had a wonderful time. I saw people dancing who claim to have two left feet and have never been dragged from their seats before. We had a real giggle. The only problem we did have was that it ended all too soon.” - Paula Mallison
